Spring is round the corner and it is such a beautiful time of the year when everyone is getting impatient for the warmer days and blooming nature. In fashion world it is the time when pastels are taking over and this is a great inspiration for decor lovers. Pastels help achieve a fresh, subtle look and blush is my absolute favorite. It is such a versatile colour to use when styling interiors and it can be bravely used on the walls, unlike bold colours.
Here are a few ideas of how to bring some spring into your home using blush:
1. Go for blush velvet upholstery
This room screams ‘Spring’! I love to see that velvet sofas can be in different colour than emerald and I must admit it looks absolutely amazing. Additionally all the plants bring even more nature and spring vibes into this interior.
2. Totally transform the whole room with one element
Painting doors pink might be a bit brave, but just look at the photo below and you’ll know it is worth taking a risk if the results will be this stunning. I love how everything else was kept rather neutral in this entryway, so brighter door is not too overwhelming.
3. Paint the walls
Choosing blush for a wall colour doesn’t necessarily mean the interior will turn too girly. In this room a fabolous boho look was achieved by adding natural accents like rattan basket, cow’s skin rug and wooden desk. Stunning!
